A few years their senior, Santhakumar was key in providing valence to the young group of artists Ganesh Arts, here present. From an early stage his work and efforts were instrumental in inspiring and unifying aspiring artists.

Within his work, fascinating figures, surrounded by an ethereal ambience are poised within obscure yet recognisable settings. Shapes and forms paradoxically share their surrounding space, embodying within themselves, the same fluid and illusory essence in a striking metonymy. Instinctive orchestrations of colour and texture are more than just painted drawings. In spite of the clarity and force of the outlines, colours are never passive or flat, but sculpted and animated, the volume of the shapes and forms at the same time demonstrating their independence from their surrounding space.
