Sakthi’s recent paintings skillfully balance both a modern and classical atmosphere. Enhanced by his appreciation of Cubism, subtle elements of collage transpose upon his figures, emphasizing light as the source of animation and the unifying factor of disparate elements within their composition. Sakthi has been instrumental in organizing many a show and initiative amongst fellow artists in Pondicherry, and while observing his vibrant and expressive abstract and figurative compositions, one can get a sense of his dynamism. |
